About Me
I am a Michigan native and a recent graduate from Michigan State University with a B.A. in International Relations and a minor in Public Relations. I have been working on Capitol Hill since I graduated, mainly in communications work. I am currently a Press Assistant for Congressman Dan Kildee, and it has been an honor to work for such an accomplished Member of Congress. Not only that, but it is a joy to work for my home district and give back to the communities that raised me.
I am passionate about improving the lives of all Americans, and I am determined to work for someone whose work I want to amplify and contribute towards. Having served mostly in communications roles and with a background in journalism, I know that a robust communications strategy is key to a successful office. I have become familiar with digital strategies across the social media platforms X (Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram. I also have experience creating and maintaining websites and I am well-versed in traditional media techniques. Additionally, I have experience working for frontline districts, and am knowledgeable about the importance of communications work in these climates. I look forward to using these skills—as well as growing them—in a future office.
In my free time, I enjoy singing with the Choral Arts Society of Washington, experimenting with new recipes, and spending time with friends and family.
